Brooks Koepka<\/strong>\u2018s recent post about his wife had some golf fans thinking it was a dig at Rory McIlroy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Koepka, 35, took to Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, May 15, to congratulate wife Jena Sims<\/strong> <\/a>on being featured in the 60th anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo proud of you @jenamsims amazing to see what hard work can do! I love you!\u201d Koepka captioned the post, which included a photo from the magazine.<\/p>\n

Some followers questioned the timing of Koepka\u2019s social media upload since just moments prior, news broke about McIlroy, 35, filing for divorce from wife Erica Stoll<\/strong><\/a>. The comments poked fun at the seemingly coincidental timing.<\/p>\n

Speculation about Koepka\u2019s intentions grew even more after McIlroy\u2019s former fianc\u00e9e Caroline Wozniacki<\/strong> replied, writing, \u201cHot mama\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another commentator suggested that Koepka was attempting to \u201cget in Rory\u2019s head early\u201d ahead of the PGA Championship 2024.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that McIlroy filed to legally end his marriage in Florida<\/a> on Monday, May 13. The divorce filing came days before the PGA Championship, where McIlroy is one of the favorites to win. (He previously won the major in 2014.)<\/p>\n

\u201cRory McIlroy\u2019s communications team confirmed today that a divorce has been filed,\u201d a spokeswoman for McIlroy told Irish Star on Tuesday. \u201cThey stressed Rory\u2019s desire to ensure this difficult time is as respectful and amicable as possible.
