Leslie Fhima<\/strong><\/a> weighed in on Gerry<\/strong> Turner<\/strong><\/a> and Theresa Nist\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> breakup during an interview on the \u201cPlaying the Field<\/a>\u201d podcast. The Golden Bachelor runner-up admitted she was \u201cshocked\u201d by the couple\u2019s decision to divorce and dished on whether she\u2019d date Gerry again now that he\u2019s single.<\/p>\n \u201cNo,\u201d Leslie, 65, said during the May 10 interview, regarding the possibility of rekindling her relationship with Gerry, 72. \u201cIt\u2019s not like, \u2018Oh, I hate the guy.\u2019 I was in love with him. I care a lot about him<\/a>. But A, I\u2019m no one\u2019s second choice. Ever. And B, that window is closed for me.\u201d<\/p>\n The personal trainer said she learned about Gerry and Theresa\u2019s split \u201cmaybe two days\u201d before they publicly shared the news on April 12. She had spent time with the pair during the first weekend of April when they got together to film Celebrity Family Feud<\/em>. They were also all together at the live finale of The Bachelor<\/em> season 28 on March 25.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were all hanging out together and had a really good time,\u201d Leslie dished. \u201cWe laughed and had meals together, so I guess I was shocked [by the divorce]. I didn\u2019t see that coming.\u201d<\/p>\n Gerry chose Theresa, 70, over Leslie during The Golden Bachelor<\/em> finale, which aired in November 2023. The then-couple tied the knot on January 4 in a televised wedding, but decided to \u201cdissolve\u201d their marriage after not being able to decide<\/a> on a place to live.<\/p>\n \u201cI texted both of them, kind of in a group message, like two days [after],\u201d Leslie said. \u201cAnd I just said, \u2018I love you both. I\u2019m here for you. I\u2019m sorry.\u2019 That kind of thing. Theresa and I, we do text, maybe every day or every other day. We talk maybe once a week. So I just want to be there for her<\/a>. I know she\u2019s having a hard time.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Leslie was heartbroken when Gerry dumped her, she has since recovered and is ready to get back out there. She confirmed that she hasn\u2019t been on a date since the show ended, but said that she\u2019d be down to star on The Golden Bachelorette<\/em> if asked.<\/p>\n \u201cIf they asked me? Yes, I would do it,\u201d Leslie gushed. \u201cI think I would be a great [lead]. Because I have been doing this. I was on the show, so I know, kind of, a little more of what to expect and not to expect and all of that. Plus, I think I\u2019m fun! I\u2019ll repel down a waterfall, I\u2019ll get in a hot tub, I\u2019ll go on an ATV. I\u2019ll do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
