While the Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> cast is known for serving up the drama, some of the stars have branched out into the acting world.<\/p>\n Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 who has been on the Bravo series since its premiere in 2013 \u2014 was no stranger to reality TV. He first hit the screen in 2006 with an uncredited role on The Hills<\/em><\/a>. After making a name for himself on Pump Rules<\/em>, the Missouri native went on to land a part in the 2021 Lifetime original movie, The Wrong Real Estate Agent<\/em>. He starred alongside Vivica A. Fox<\/strong><\/a>, Andres Londono<\/strong> and Gina Hiraizumi<\/strong> in the thriller<\/a> as Connor, a creepy handyman.<\/p>\n Sandoval isn\u2019t the only actor among his costars. Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/a> had several TV cameos<\/a> before she hit it big on the reality series. The \u201cScheananigans\u201d podcast host had an uncredited role in the ABC Family show Greek<\/em><\/a> in 2007. She then went on to score a small part in the Disney Channel<\/a> series Jonas<\/em>, which starred the Jonas Brothers<\/strong><\/a>. Shay played the pizza delivery girl, Maria, who the brothers all had a crush on.<\/p>\n After her gig with the JoBros, the \u201cGood as Gold\u201d singer went on to snag small roles in 90210<\/em>, Victorious<\/em> and Femme Fatales<\/em> before ultimately joining the Pump Rules<\/em> family and pursuing other endeavors.<\/p>\n When Stassi Schroeder<\/strong><\/a> signed on to join Pump Rules<\/em> in its premiere season, she had some previous experience with reality TV<\/a>. Schroeder and her family competed on season 8 of the Amazing Race<\/em><\/a> which aired in 2005. She raced alongside her parents and younger brother for the million-dollar prize but ultimately came in seventh place. The model was also a contestant on The N\u2019s reality series Queen Bees<\/em> in 2008 before she joined the Bravo show five years later.<\/p>\n While filming Pump Rules<\/em>, Schroeder joined the cast of the fourth Sharknado<\/em><\/a> film, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens<\/em><\/a>. She starred alongside Ian Ziering<\/strong><\/a>, Tara Reid<\/strong><\/a>, David Hasselhoff<\/strong><\/a> and more. The Next Level Basic<\/em> author portrayed Koening, who was the Astro-X Manager for New York City. Schroeder\u2019s Pump Rules<\/em> costar \u2014 and ex-boyfriend \u2014 Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> also had a cameo in the film as one of the national guards.<\/p>\n The latest Vanderpump Rules<\/em> star to dip their toes into the acting pool was Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>. The Florida native made headlines in March 2023 when she and ex Sandoval broke up<\/a> after nearly nine years together after she found out he was cheating on her<\/a> with costar Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n That same month, Deadline<\/em><\/a> announced that Madix landed a role<\/a> in the upcoming Lifetime original movie Buying Back My Daughter<\/em>. She previously had a role in a small film titled, Swing Vote: What Side Are You On?<\/em> in 2008 and was featured in the 2021 series Paradise City<\/em>.<\/p>\n
