Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> has shared whether or not pal Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> revealed the name of his and wife Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s baby No. 4 on her new album The Tortured Poets Department<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n During the If<\/em> star\u2019s Monday, May 13, appearance on the Today<\/em> show, host Savannah Guthrie<\/strong> pointed out, \u201cTaylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics,\u201d referring to the names of his three eldest daughters. The Grammy winner released the song \u201cBetty,\u201d \u200bwhich was named after Blake, 36, and Ryan\u2019s third child, on her 2020 album Folklore<\/em><\/a>, \u200band the lyrics also included daughters James and Inez\u2019s monikers<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, Ryan, 47, implied the name of baby No. 4 didn\u2019t appear on any of the 31 songs from TTPD: The Anthology<\/em>. \u201cWe always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child\u2019s name is, and I\u2019ll say this: We\u2019re still waiting,\u201d he responded to Savannah, 52.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s a prolific writer \u2014 I mean, what are we doing here? And \u2018lazy\u2019 is not a word I\u2019d attach to Taylor,\u201d the Deadpool star added.<\/p>\n Ryan and Blake have always been extremely private about their children. They\u2019ve never released birth announcements and have kept details about their kids to a minimum.<\/p>\n The duo welcomed baby No. 4 sometime in early 2023, although to this day they have not revealed the sex or name of the child, as well as their birthdate. The only news fans got about the birth was when Blake shared a photo from a Super Bowl party in February 2023 showing she was no longer pregnant, after a picture in December 2022 featured the Gossip Girl<\/em> alum with a huge baby bump.<\/p>\n Ryan confirmed their fourth child\u2019s arrival but provided no other details in a June 15, 2023, Instagram post<\/a> about his new Sling TV show Bedtime Stories<\/em>. \u201cThe idea for a show made to help everyone fall asleep was born the same day as my fourth child,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI can\u2019t wait for you to watch Bedtime Stories.\u201d<\/p>\n The Proposal<\/em> star confirmed Betty\u2019s moniker was revealed in Taylor\u2019s song by the same name in an August 2021 SiriusXM town hall interview<\/p>\n \u201cWe surprised them with it. They didn\u2019t know. They had no idea,\u201d Ryan said of his three girls getting name dropped in \u201cBetty. \u201d<\/p>\n He then joked, \u201cWe don\u2019t tell them anything. We find they\u2019re most compliant if you offer them no access to outside information.\u201d<\/p>\n While Taylor, 34, wrote Folklore as an experiment in storytelling and creating characters and narratives, TTPD<\/em> was much more personal. The double album was drawn from her real-life experiences in relationships and breakups with ex-boyfriend<\/a> Joe Alwyn<\/strong> and her on-again, off-again bond<\/a> with The 1975\u2019s Matty Healy<\/strong>.
