Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> says she\u2019s taking weight-loss medication, but clarified that it\u2019s not Ozempic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clarkson, 42, opened up about her health on the Monday, May 13 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/i><\/a> while getting on the topic of weight loss with her guest, Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I run into you, you look younger!\u201d she told Goldberg. \u201cYou\u2019re like Benjamin Button. It\u2019s, like, crazy every time you walk in!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, it\u2019s all the weight I\u2019ve lost,\u201d Goldberg, 68, responded. \u201cI\u2019ve lost almost two people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss \u2014 with some stars confirming they have used the drug while others denied it. Chelsea Handler admitted during a January 2023 episode of the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast that she unknowingly took the Type 2 diabetes medication, which is traditionally used to improve [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI have lost a lot as well,\u201d Clarkson said, to which Goldberg replied, \u201cI see. I am doing that wonderful shot that works for folks who need some help, and it\u2019s been really good for me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMine is a different one that people assume,\u201d Clarkson said, \u201cbut I ended up having to do that too because my bloodwork got so bad.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The inaugural American Idol <\/i>champion added, \u201cMy doctor chased me for, like, two years. I was like, \u2018No, I\u2019m afraid of it.\u2019 I already have thyroid problems. I was afraid. Everybody thinks it\u2019s Ozempic, but it\u2019s not. It\u2019s something else. But it\u2019s something that aids in helping break down the sugar\u201d because her body \u201cdoesn\u2019t do it right.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
