\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Hollywood is mourning a massive loss.<\/p>\n On Friday (May 10), veteran journalist Sam Rubin<\/strong><\/a>, who has anchored KTLA\u2019s entertainment coverage for more than 30 years, sadly died at the age of 64.<\/p>\n KTLA news anchor Frank Buckley<\/strong> confirmed Sam<\/strong>\u2018s passing live on air.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cWe have some news from the KTLA family that is shocking and hard to comprehend at the moment. We have the profoundly sad duty to report that our friend and colleague Sam Rubin has died. Our hearts, as you can imagine, are broken,\u201d Frank <\/strong>started.<\/p>\n \u201cHis laugh, his charm, his caring personality\u2026\u201d Frank<\/strong> said while struggling to hold back tears. \u201cTo all of us he shared his mornings with on television, and to those he worked with behind the scenes on KTLA, we will not forget.\u201d<\/p>\n Sam <\/strong>was on air on Thursday (May 10) and interviewed Jane Seymour<\/strong><\/a>, but called in sick on Friday morning with film critic Scott Mantz<\/strong> filling in.<\/p>\n The Los Angeles Times<\/em> <\/a>reports that Sam <\/strong>suffered cardiac arrest at his home in West Valley Friday morning and was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n Following news of Sam<\/strong>\u2018s passing, a ton of celebrities took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to pay tribute.<\/p>\n Keep scrolling to read the celebrity tributes\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Even if I was on my 85th interview that day, I was always happy to see Sam.
