A leading figure in Premier League football <\/b>has won a High Court anonymity order to prevent his identity being revealed in a civil case being brought against him for alleged sexual abuse of a teenage girl<\/b>.<\/p>\n
What is known:<\/p>\n
– The person is high-profile<\/b> and holds a leadership<\/b> position in a Premier League football club in England<\/p>\n
– The offence took place in the 90s<\/b><\/p>\n
– The court documents (seen by The Athletic) stated he “committed trespass to the claimant’s person (assault and battery<\/b>) and intentionally inflicted injury<\/b>“<\/p>\n
– The judge ruled that the disclosure of his name is \u201cnot in the public interest<\/b>\u201d and that his identity must be protected (more details on the discriminatory legal loophole in The Athletic, but tl;dr – she was a girl under 16 before the new sexual offences act in 2003, and therefore had to report the incident within one year)<\/p>\n
– The Athletic learned that the same man has many other alleged non-recent sexual offences<\/b>, including rape and sexual abuse of other teenage girls<\/b><\/p>\n
– The BBC has evidence that 7 out of 20 Premier League clubs<\/b> have had players or bosses investigated by the police for sexual offences<\/b> since 2020<\/p>\n
– The Football Association (FA) are aware of these allegations<\/b> and, despite their commitments to \u2018safeguarding\u2019, they are all still there<\/b>, working in proximity to women and young girls<\/p>\n
– Twitter\u2019s guess<\/b> is that it\u2019s the West Ham chairman, billionaire and former pornographer (with a very sketchy history) David Sullivan, as he was spotted walking out of a police station a few months ago (just emphasising here his connection to this case is NOT confirmed)<\/p>\n
