But researchers say they\u2019ve developed a unique \u201cnanophotonic metasurface waveguide\u201d that can \u201celiminate the need for bulky collimation optics,\u201d and a \u201clearned physical waveguide model\u201d that uses AI algorithms to drastically improve image quality.
