\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n John Leguizamo<\/strong><\/a> opened up about some of the roles that got away, and that includes a major one that went to Stanley Tucci<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 63-year-old Encanto<\/em> star named three movies that he turned down at some point in his career. Looking back now, he regrets the decisions, adding that he made some of them for \u201cstupid\u201d reasons.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n The first movie that John <\/strong>mentioned was The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>, revealing that he had been offered the role of Nigel Kipling. Of course, Stanley<\/strong> brought the character to life alongside Anne Hathaway<\/strong><\/a> and Meryl Streep<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cAlso Happy Feet<\/em>, the Robin Williams<\/strong><\/a> part. And Mr. & Mrs. Smith<\/em>, the Vince Vaughn<\/strong><\/a> part,\u201d he continued. <\/p>\n John<\/strong> broke down some of his decisions.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, for Mr. & Mrs. Smith<\/em>, it was because they were paying them $20 million and they were going to pay me scale. I felt dissed, and they probably weren\u2019t dissing me, but I felt dissed,\u201d he explained, adding, \u201cSometimes when you\u2019re a person of color, you\u2019re so used to being dissed that you think you\u2019re being dissed, and sometimes you\u2019re not being dissed. So that\u2019s what happens, and you have to go to a lot of therapy to fix that.\u201d<\/p>\n As for Happy Feet<\/em>, John<\/strong> was concerned about being typecast after appearing in Ice Age<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI was going, \u2018I don\u2019t want to be doing all these ice movies.\u2019 Such a stupid reason. But it seemed logical to me at the moment, and then I lost out on millions,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n John<\/strong> isn\u2019t the only actor to pass on a role in The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>.
