SNH48 (short for Shanghai 48) is a Chinese girlgroup based on the AKB48 concept of the popular Japanese idol group with the same name. In early May, member Shen Xiaoai revealed on her blog that she used to be in a releationship with a woman but had broken up with her now<\/b>. Her ex-girlfriend in question is no other than fellow bandmate Lu Xinyi<\/b>. Xiaoai revealed that she and Xinyi started dating 2.5 years ago<\/b> but towards the end of their relationship, Xinyi began an “emotional affair”<\/i>. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe were together for 2.5 years but she was having an emotional affair towards the end of the relationship. You hid our relationship from your partner at the very start.<\/i><\/p>\n

We agreed we wouldn\u2019t be partners for this year\u2019s Best Partners competition. One reason being the fact that I\u2019ll be graduating soon. Another reason being the fact that for the past two years, we had arguments while working as partners. We promised each other that, since we\u2019ve partnered up for so long, we would do it separately for one year.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be graduating next year, so you could partner up with someone new. However, for the Best Partners competition, there are many things that can\u2019t be controlled.<\/p>\n

The unacceptable thing is, for the past month, you used the excuse of \u2018getting to know your partner better, for work\u2019 in order to chat with your partner from morning until bed time everyday. You two even played games after I\u2019ve gone to bed and wore couple bracelets without telling me.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve argued about this everyday with no signs of stopping.\u201d<\/p>\n

The “partner” in question is no other than fellow bandmate Wang Yuchen<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Xiaoai mentions instances where there was suspicion about their relationship from Yuchen but Xinyi shrugged it off<\/b>. Xiaoai then discovered chat logs between Xinyi and Yuchen, exposing their relationship<\/b>, despite Xinyi\u2019s wish for them to stay together.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn April 1, before going to school, you hugged me tightly and said, \u2018Let\u2019s not fight. Let\u2019s not break up, okay?\u2019<\/i><\/p>\n

But everything changed on April 3.<\/p>\n

On the day when you went to pick up your partner at the airport, I looked at all of your chat logs on the iPad<\/b>. I only realized then that you started having an emotional affair a long while ago.<\/p>\n

When you were touring in Beijing, you asked her if she would accompany to Beijing<\/b>. We hadn\u2019t started arguing back then. Where was I living? Did you think about me? I wouldn\u2019t have found out if I hadn\u2019t looked at the chat logs.<\/p>\n

When we broke up, we made a promise that if you two break things off, then I would never mention any of this again. I never imagined that even after your partner found out about our relationship, you still didn\u2019t keep the promise~<\/p>\n
