Production on season 2 of Wednesday<\/em><\/a> has officially started \u2014 and there are plenty of cast shakeups.<\/p>\n

Netflix posted a photo on social media of the season 2 cast on Tuesday, May 7, which featured many familiar faces and some newcomers<\/a>. The streamer also released a list of returning and guest cast members \u2014 which was missing certain names.<\/p>\n

Notably, Percy Hynes White <\/strong>and Naomi J. Ogawa<\/strong> don\u2019t appear to be returning after previously being series regulars. Jamie McShane, who was a series regular in the first season, has been moved to guest star status. Meanwhile, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzm\u00e1n, Isaac Ordonez<\/strong> and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo<\/strong> were promoted to series regulars.<\/p>\n

Wednesday has also added series regulars Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter<\/strong> and Noah Taylor<\/strong>. As for guest stars, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O\u2019Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo<\/strong> and Joonas Suotamo.<\/strong> (Lloyd played Uncle Fester in Addams Family<\/em> and Addams Family Values<\/em><\/a>, which were released in the \u201990s.)<\/p>\n

Wednesday was renewed for season 2 after scoring two Golden Globe nominations \u2014 including a best actress nod for Ortega. The show also received multiple Emmy nominations, one of which was Outstanding Comedy Series. Filming commenced in Ireland after the first season was filmed primarily in Romania.<\/p>\n

After Wednesday\u2019s global success, multiple women accused White<\/a>, who plays Xavier, of sexual assault.<\/p>\n
