Comedian Nikki Glaser<\/strong> isn\u2019t one to hold back with her humor, but she did have boundaries when picking jokes for Tom Brady<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Netflix roast.<\/p>\n

Glaser, 39, revealed what restrictions she gave herself for Netflix\u2019s The Roast of Tom Brady<\/em>, telling Howard Stern<\/strong><\/a> on Monday, May 6, \u201cWe all collectively just decided not to involve his kids too much in anything because they didn\u2019t ask for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The creative decision led to all participants<\/a> leaving \u201cany kind of reference\u201d to Brady\u2019s kids \u201coff the table.\u201d (The former NFL star, 46, shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with ex-wife Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/strong>. Brady also shares son Jack, 16, with his ex Bridget Moynahan<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t say, \u2018Tom, hopefully we make out the after party. You can pretend I\u2019m your son,’\u201d Glaser quipped. \u201cLike the reference to him kissing his son. Which, my dad kissed me on the lips as a kid and throughout my adulthood so I really related to that and never judged in any way. Other than, I thought it was a cute moment that we all took too seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhether she tuned in or not, Gisele B\u00fcndchen won\u2019t be able to escape The Roast of Tom Brady. Tom Brady\u2018s ex-wife was a main topic throughout the two-and-half-hour live Netflix special on Sunday, May 5, with host Kevin Hart kicking off the roast with jokes about B\u00fcndchen and her new boyfriend, jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Glaser, who was referring to Brady previously defending how he showed affection to his child, continued: \u201cBut yeah, there was things like that. We all just agreed, \u2018Let\u2019s not throw the kids under the bus.\u2019 Even though I just did it here.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Glaser, there were other jokes that were included<\/a> because there wasn\u2019t enough time.<\/p>\n

\u201cOr it was just not as strong as others or it hit something that someone else was maybe touching. Or that you\u2019ll see some of them are just soft,\u201d she added before mentioning one of her quips that never aired. \u201c\u2018Thank you all for being here tonight and taking some time away from cheating on your wives. Hey, it\u2019s not their fault. It\u2019s their wives\u2019 fault for aging naturally.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Glaser also chose to stay away from CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) humor despite already having the jokes ready to go.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018First, I\u2019d like to say that the proceeds from tonight\u2019s show are going toward CTE research. And the NFL\u2019s coordinated effort to cover it up. People don\u2019t know but it costs millions to murder those doctors who know the truth,’\u201d Glaser recalled her initial quip. \u201cThen [there was] some kind of commentary about CTE and how these guys are really f\u2014king damaging their bodies all for the sake of men hugging each other and a Buffalo Wild Wings. Like, I hope it was worth it fellas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite some of the limitations, fans were still entertained when a wide variety of celeb roasters including Ben Affleck, Peyton Manning, Bill Belichick, Rob Gronkowski <\/strong>and Kim Kardashian<\/strong> poked fun at Brady. Comedians such as Kevin Hart \u2014 who also hosted the live special \u2014 still found ways to address Brady\u2019s personal life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cGisele gave you an ultimatum. She said you have to retire or you\u2019re done. But when you have a chance to go 8-9 you gotta do it,\u201d Hart said before joking that Brady \u201cf\u2013ked\u201d coach Belichick, 72, when he left the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.<\/p>\n
