\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Irina Shayk<\/strong><\/a> is making a dazzling arrival at the 2024 Met Gala<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The 38-year-old model went glam a sparkling silver dress for the big fashion event held on Monday (May 6) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.<\/p>\n For the event, Irina<\/strong> wore a curve-hugging, corseted design made entirely made out of an invisible net of 84,000 Swarovski <\/em>crystals, which took six artisans more than 200 hours to apply by hand, Irina<\/strong> shared with Vogue<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I first saw the sketches, I was blown away by the level of intricacy,\u201d Irina<\/strong> added.<\/p>\n This year, the Met Gala will celebrate the Costume Institute\u2019s exhibition titled \u201cSleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.\u201d The official dress code is \u201cThe Garden of Time,\u201d<\/a> inspired by J.G. Ballard<\/strong>\u2018s short story written in the 1960s. Alongside Vogue<\/em>\u2018s Anna Wintour<\/strong><\/a>, the celebrity co-chairs include Zendaya<\/strong><\/a>, Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a>, Bad Bunny<\/strong><\/a> and Chris Hemsworth<\/strong><\/a>. In addition, Loewe<\/em> creative director Jonathan Anderson<\/strong> and TikTok CEO Shou Chew<\/strong> are acting as honorary co-chairs.<\/p>\n
