Eli Manning<\/strong><\/a> revealed why he wasn\u2019t at the roast of Tom Brady<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought about attending the Roast of Tom Brady last night, but I did not want to Roast him for a 3rd time!!\u201d the former Giants quarterback, 43, joked via X<\/a> on Monday, May 6, referring to the New York Giants\u2019 two Super Bowl wins against Brady\u2019s former team, the New England Patriots.<\/p>\n

Brady, 46, was in the hot seat on Netflix\u2019s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady<\/em>, which aired on Sunday, May 5, and was hosted by Kevin Hart<\/strong>. The lineup of roasters included Jeff Ross<\/strong>, Bill Belichick<\/strong>, Kim Kardashian<\/strong>, Nikki Glaser<\/strong><\/a>, Tom Segura<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n

Manning wasn\u2019t present at the roast but was mentioned throughout the night. Will Ferrell<\/strong>, who was in character as Anchorman<\/em>\u2019s Ron Burgundy, made several jokes about Brady\u2019s \u201cfear\u201d of Manning as well as the future of his career after announcing his retirement in 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTom Brady isn\u2019t only loved for the game of football, but by a host of family and friends. The retired NFL quarterback, 46, has been spotted with celebrity friends and various women over the years, but he\u2019s been most vocal about his love for his three children, John \u201cJack\u201d Edward Thomas, Benjamin Rein and Vivian [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Eli wasn\u2019t in attendance, his brother, Peyton Manning<\/strong>, made a surprise appearance at Sunday night\u2019s roast. During his routine, the quarterback confirmed that Belichick, Brady\u2019s former Patriots coach, would join him and Eli on ESPN\u2019s ManningCast<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor those who don\u2019t know, Coach is gonna be doing some work on Eli and my Monday Night Football show this year,\u201d Peyton said. \u201cI gotta tell you, it\u2019s gonna be awesome. Eli and I are super excited. And it\u2019s gonna give Coach Belichick something he hasn\u2019t had in a while. The chance to be around quarterbacks that he respects.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady\u2019s Super Bowl losses are a sore spot for the athlete, as he stated on a February episode of his \u201cLet\u2019s Go!\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m not over any of the Super Bowl losses,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI am still mad. Sixteen years later. In \u201907. I\u2019m still mad. The 2011 Super Bowl, I\u2019m still mad we lost to the [Philadelphia] Eagles. But no, you can\u2019t change the outcome and you gotta live with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

It appeared that nothing was off limits at Brady\u2019s roast on Sunday, from jokes about his football career to his ex-wife Gisele B\u00fcndchen\u00a0to his split from then-pregnant Bridget Moynahan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThroughout his career in the NFL \u2014 which saw him win seven Super Bowls \u2014 Tom Brady also made headlines for his numerous A-list romances. Brady dated Bridget Moynahan from 2004 to 2006, welcoming their son, Jack, in 2007. The now-retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was already dating future wife Gisele B\u00fcndchen when Moynahan found [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, the former NFL star shut down a joke<\/a> made by Ross about Robert Kraft<\/strong> being charged with soliciting another to commit prostitution in 2019. (Kraft was ultimately cleared of all charges.) Afterward, Brady walked up to the podium to warn Ross, \u201cDon\u2019t say that s\u2013t again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady, overall, has seven Super Bowl victories under his belt and has played in nine championship games over 20 years. He announced his retirement<\/a> from football in February 2023. (Brady had announced his retirement twice by this point \u2014 once in March 2020 and again in February 2022.)<\/p>\n
