While Love Is Blind<\/span><\/i><\/a> star <\/span>Chelsea Blackwell<\/b><\/a>\u2019s engagement to Jimmy Presnell<\/strong> wasn\u2019t meant to be, she reveals that they\u2019re still close during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe are neighbors, which is so silly. We live right next to each other, which is crazy,\u201d Chelsea, 31, tells Life & Style<\/em> about their two apartment buildings in Charlotte, North Carolina, while discussing her partnership with Flash Pack<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re good friends. He calls me for advice. I call him for advice.\u201d<\/p>\n Chelsea adds that she and Jimmy, 28, \u201chave a very mutual friendship,\u201d<\/a> and they supported each other when the show premiered in February. \u201dWe were in this traumatic experience together, and so we really have been leaning on each other during the whole show and after,\u201d the Netflix personality says. \u201cSo we\u2019re in a really good spot right now.\u201d<\/p>\n She then shares that living close to her ex isn\u2019t always easy<\/a>, because he will often want to hang out. \u201cHe\u2019ll call me and be like, \u2018Do you want to go on a walk?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Leave me alone,\u2019\u201d Chelsea jokingly says.<\/p>\n Fans watched Chelsea and Jimmy create a close bond while in the pods during season 6, though their romance became more complicated once they started living in the real world<\/a>. After they had several arguments, the pair chose to call off their engagement before their wedding.<\/p>\n Chelsea previously revealed to Entertainment Weekly<\/em> <\/a>that they \u201ctried to date for days after\u201d filming ended, though \u201cit just didn\u2019t work out.\u201d<\/p>\n After things didn\u2019t work out romantically with Jimmy, Chelsea reveals that her current dating life is \u201cso weird\u201d and \u201cnot ideal.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cDating\u2019s crusty, it\u2019s dusty, especially in Charlotte,\u201d she admits. \u201cI know a lot more about myself than I did before going on to the show. This has really challenged me. So I know what I\u2019m looking for as a person and what I\u2019m looking for in a person way more than I did think I knew when I went for the show.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite not currently having a romantic interest in her life, Chelsea explains to <\/span>Life & Style<\/span><\/i><\/a> that she has been busy focusing on traveling. She adds that her adventures have become even more exciting since she partnered with<\/span> Flash Pack to <\/span>encourage other women to join her in her solo travel adventures<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTraveling is my main focus right now. And really being a voice for women who are nervous to do the solo traveling,\u201d Chelsea tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cMy main priority right now is reaching out<\/a> and being a voice to women to give them the strength to want to explore the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Through her partnership with Flash Pack, Chelsea wants to encourage women to travel that may believe it\u2019s not \u201cfeasible for them\u201d<\/a> right now. \u201cMy main focus is showing people you can see the world. You don\u2019t have to have a lot of money. You don\u2019t have to have a lot of time,\u201d Chelsea explains. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to even know anyone. You\u2019re going to go, you\u2019re going to explore this world and it\u2019s going to be amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
