Raven-Symone has hit out after her wife was trolled for not growing up watching That’s So Raven<\/p>\n
During a recent appearance on the podcast ‘Bottoms Up With Fannita’, the 38-year-old former Disney star’s other half, Miranda Pearman-Maday, admitted she hadn’t seen Raven-Symon\u00e9’s iconic teen sitcom, leading to her being cyber bullied, and the couple insist enough is enough after a “big spiral of internet misinformation” got out of control.<\/p>\n
She simply said on the podcast: \u201cThe fact that I didn\u2019t watch [That\u2019s So Raven] was something that Raven appreciated.\u201d<\/p>\n
In a recent TikTok video, Raven-Symon\u00e9 began: \u201cI\u2019m here with Miranda, my wife, to tell you to stop it in the comments. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd stop with the death threats in her DMs. It is disrespectful to her, and in turn, disrespectful to me. Stop it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHer spouse continued: \u201cIt\u2019s really become wild. I hope to clear the air right now and let you all know that I never have once said that I did not know who Raven was.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI only ever said that I did not grow up watching That\u2019s So Raven.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI did not watch her as a child, but since getting married and meeting her in 2015, I have seen the majority of her work. I have also been at a lot of this work. So I mean, backstage at The View, 25 Words or Less, the list goes on and on. I love That\u2019s So Raven, I think she should have won all the Emmys.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cShe also isn\u2019t just Raven-Symon\u00e9 to me. You guys must try and open your minds a little bit and understand there is more behind people that are celebrities. There is real life here. And that\u2019s why we\u2019re feeling inclined to address this because I\u2019m receiving so much hate for something that is really just a big spiral of internet misinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRaven-Symon\u00e9 concluded: \u201cAnd for all the blue checks out there acting like trolls, sit down.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMiranda, 37, had insisted she was “too old” to watch the programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
