During the first hour of The Roast of Tom Brady<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, there was endless jokes about his ex-wife, Gisele B\u00fcndchen,<\/strong> but Nikki Glaser<\/strong> was the first comedian to make a reference to the quarterback\u2019s ex Bridget Moynahan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cTom, you\u2019re the best to ever play for too long, you retired then came back then retired, I get it \u2026 Kt\u2019s hard to walk away from something that isn\u2019t your pregnant girlfriend,\u201d Glaser said on the live Netflix special on Sunday, May 5. \u201cTo be fair he didn\u2019t know, he just thought she was getting fat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady and Moynahan had been dating for more than two years when they called it quits in 2006. Two months after he moved on with B\u00fcndchen, Moynahan learned she was pregnant<\/a>. Moynahan gave birth to their son John, whom they call Jack, in August 2007.<\/p>\n

Not long after an unexpected cameo from Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> at Friday\u2019s roast, Will Ferrell<\/strong> (in character as Ron Burgundy) made the second joke of the night about Moynahan.<\/p>\n

While Moynahan does not appear to be present at Friday\u2019s roast, she\u2019s on good terms with Brady and continued to coparent Jack, now 16, with him. It wasn\u2019t always easy, however, with the Blue Bloods<\/em> actress making her first statement about the situation in the July 2008 issue of Harper\u2019s Bazaar.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure anyone \u2014 and I could be wrong in this \u2014 grows up thinking, \u2018I want to be a single mom,\u2019\u201d Moynahan explained at the time. \u201cWhen you\u2019re suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you\u2019re in your 30s, it\u2019s a hard conversation. I\u2019m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that\u2019s the way I\u2019d be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family.\u201d<\/p>\n
