JoJo Siwa<\/b><\/a> claimed that <\/span>Dance Moms: The Reunion<\/span><\/i><\/a> producers wanted her to call <\/span>Abby Lee Miller <\/b><\/a>\u00a0during the taping.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a few times on the reunion where the producers tried to do some shady s\u2013t,\u201d JoJo, 20, claimed during the Thursday, May 2, episode of her \u201cJoJo Siwa Now\u201d podcast<\/a>, while discussing the reunion that brought together former costars Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Chloe Lukasiak, Paige Hyland<\/strong> and Brooke Hyland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Kalani are the two that have a relationship with Abby<\/a> \u2026 Paige, Brooke and Chloe don\u2019t have any, and it was not a healthy end of a relationship,\u201d JoJo explained. \u201cAnd the producers kept wanting me to call Abby.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite their requests, JoJo \u201cput [her] foot down\u201d<\/a> and refused to call their former dance coach. \u201cI was like, \u2018I\u2019m not only putting myself in an awkward position of calling in this environment, that no one invited her to,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cBut also, I\u2019m putting Abby in a weird situation where she is talking to people who she doesn\u2019t necessarily know how to talk to them.\u201d<\/p>\n She then explained that she didn\u2019t want to upset her former costars, because they experienced \u201creal trauma\u201d<\/a> during their time dancing at Abby Lee Dance Company.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a good relationship with Abby<\/a>. I have chosen to see that Abby only ever wanted what was best for me and only ever was tough on me because she wanted what was best for me,\u201d JoJo continued. \u201cSo for me, I wanted to protect my relationship with Abby, and I wanted to protect my relationship with Brooke, Paige and Chloe.\u201d<\/p>\n Not only did the producers allegedly try to create drama by bringing up Abby<\/a>, but JoJo added that they also wanted to stir the pot regarding past drama she had with Chloe, 22.<\/p>\n \u201cThe producers wanted me and Chloe to kind of get into it a little bit and talk about our online beef, and honestly that\u2019s not how I feel anymore,\u201d she said, referencing an online feud she had with Chloe\u2019s mother, Christi Lukasiak<\/strong><\/a>, in 2020.<\/p>\n JoJo continued spilling tea about the reunion, claiming that the creative team wanted the cast to call out former costars Nia Sioux, Maddie Ziegler<\/strong> and Mackenzie Ziegler<\/strong> for not participating in the special<\/a>, which aired on Lifetime Wednesday, May 1.<\/p>\n While the \u201cKarma\u201d singer definitely had some issues with the experience, she said she was ultimately happy that she participated because the reunion \u201cwas so healing for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
