\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Ava Phillippe<\/strong><\/a> is taking a stand against body shaming. <\/p>\n The 24-year-old daughter of Reese Witherspoon<\/strong><\/a> took to social media this week to reveal that she\u2019d \u201cachieved a major milestone as a woman\u201d by receiving two conflicting and insulting messages about her body. <\/p>\n She addressed the comments and called out the larger pandemic of body shaming online. The first said I should get on Oz*mpic because I\u2019m too fat\u2026 The second accused me of starving myself because I\u2019m too thin,\u201d Ava<\/strong> wrote over a video of herself applying lipstick on TikTok. <\/p>\n She continued, noting, \u201cMy weight did not change in the time period between their comments (& it wouldn\u2019t be any of their business if it did!)\u201d<\/p>\n She said that comments like those are \u201csuch bullsh*t.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo one deserves to be picked apart for what they look like. You don\u2019t always know what someone\u2019s gone through or what they struggle with. But no matter who you are\u2026 Your beauty exceeds such superficial measures,\u201d Ava<\/strong> told her followers. <\/p>\n \u201cPretty is as pretty does, babes,\u201d she wrote in the accompanying caption, adding, \u201cBodyshaming is simply toxic behavior.\u201d Ava<\/strong> noted that she used the term \u201cwomen\u201d because she\u2019s witness a great deal of shaming directed toward the demographic. <\/p>\n \u201cBut let me be clear; bodyshaming is toxic no matter who the subject is.
