Viewers will follow Jenn Tran<\/strong><\/a>, a 26-year-old from Miami, as she searches for love in a historic season. She is not only a fan favorite from Joey Graziadei<\/strong>\u2019s season<\/a> of The Bachelor<\/em>, but she is the first Asian-American to lead the franchise<\/a>. A handful of the potential men that will appear on Jenn\u2019s season of The Bachelor<\/em> have already been revealed. Bachelor Nation fans quickly found out that Aaron is the brother of Bachelor in Paradis<\/em>e favorite Noah Erb<\/strong>, who is engaged to Abigail Heringer<\/strong>. Aside from Aaron, however, it appears that most of Jenn\u2019s potential men are newcomers to the franchise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bachelor Nation was thrilled to learn that Jenn\u2019s season of The Bachelorette<\/em> will premiere on July 8, 2024, on ABC and streaming on Hulu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though an official trailer for season 21 of The Bachelorette<\/em> hasn\u2019t dropped as of publication, Jenn gave some insight<\/a> into what fans can expect and who she\u2019s looking for in the sea of options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking for someone who has a really big personality,\u201d Jenn told host Jesse Palmer<\/strong><\/a> as she was announced as the new leading lady. \u201cI\u2019m all about having fun, having cheeky banter and I want someone who\u2019s going to be able to take it as much as they can dish it and we spend the whole night literally making fun of each other. That will be the most ideal night ever.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What Jenn Tran Has Said About Being the Bachelorette\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Jenn has not kept her excitement under the radar about being the next Bachelorette, especially given the historic nature of her season. Speaking to Jesse about her identity as an Asian-American woman leading the show, Jenn said, \u201cIt\u2019s honestly incredible and I feel so, so grateful and so honored to be the first Asian Bachelorette in this franchise.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cGrowing up, I\u2019ve always wanted to see Asian representation on TV. I feel like it was really sparse. Anytime Asians were in the media it was to fill a supporting character role, to fulfill some sort of stereotype and I always felt boxed in by that because I was like, I don\u2019t see myself on screen. I don\u2019t see myself as a main character.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But, if Jenn proved anything while on The Bachelor<\/em>, she is ready to step into the spotlight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to lead my own love story. I am going to be the main character in my story. I just can\u2019t help but think of how many people I\u2019m inspiring and how many lives that may change,\u201d she said. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
