Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a> hit a wall in their relationship on the latest episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a> after they agreed to disagree about their children.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been a bit of a civil war. The whole family in a way,\u201d Kody, 53, said during the Sunday, December 11, episode of the TLC series following his split<\/a> from Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> in 2021. \u201cI\u2019m looking at Janelle wondering whose side she\u2019s on.\u201d<\/p>\n Janelle, 53, meanwhile, made it clear to both Kody and her remaining fellow sister wives, Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a>, that her kids have felt unwelcomed recently. Janelle and Kody, who spiritually wed in 1993, share six kids: Logan<\/strong>, 28, Madison<\/strong>, 27, Hunter<\/strong>, 25, Garrison<\/strong>, 24, Gabriel<\/strong>, 21, and Savannah<\/strong>, 17<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be honest with you I really don\u2019t know if I want to do the work. It feels like I\u2019m being forced to choose between my children and this group,\u201d the Utah native told the group. \u201cI don\u2019t feel like my children are welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n Janelle previously butted heads with her spouse<\/a> over their sons Garrison and Gabriel following the boy\u2019s fallout with their dad during COVID-19 quarantine. Kody argued that his sons were disrespectful of his rules<\/a> at the time and later claimed they were mean to Robyn, 43, which didn\u2019t sit well with him<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cKody [has] basically told me they can\u2019t come for Christmas unless they do a big apology,\u201d Janelle said during Sunday\u2019s episode. \u201cAnd they\u2019re like, well, \u2018Hell no, we\u2019re not going to do that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The Becoming Sister Wives<\/em> coauthor proceeded to tell the family that \u201cGarrison and Gabriel aren\u2019t the only children who have problems<\/a>.\u201d She revealed that \u201cthere\u2019s a general disgruntlement\u201d with all of her kids.<\/p>\n Kody grew frustrated by the situation<\/a> and as a result, started to raise his voice. Janelle, for her part, felt like she was being attacked and threatened to leave the conversation.<\/p>\n \u201cAt the end of the day, I think I\u2019d rather be with my kids<\/a>. [And] you\u2019re getting upset with me,\u201d she told her partner. Janelle then confessed to the group, \u201cThere\u2019s a strong pull to just run away and do the easy thing.\u201d<\/p>\n The mother of six doubled down<\/a> on her comments during a confessional, revealing, \u201cI don\u2019t even recognize this family. Something has really changed for me.\u201d<\/p>\n Kody, on the other hand, told the cameras he\u2019s \u201cexhausted\u201d from all of the drama<\/a>. \u201cIf you\u2019re not with me, you\u2019re against me,\u201d he added. \u201cF off.\u201d<\/p>\n While Kody later apologized to all of his wives for getting \u201ccaught in my emotion here,\u201d Janelle concluded during the episode that she didn\u2019t know what would happen next for the family<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI just think we\u2019ve never had divides this deep. This last year and a half has really shattered what I thought our family was,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n Kody added that their arguments over his COVID-19 protocols only added to their struggles. Robyn agreed, saying, \u201cWe need to work on it. (Garrison and Gabe allegedly sent mean texts to Robyn blaming her for the family\u2019s recent issues.)<\/p>\n \u201cI never said my kids aren\u2019t welcome. I said all we\u2019ve gotta do is have a conversation,\u201d Kody claimed during a second family meeting, to which Janelle replied, \u201cYour boys are as stubborn as you are.\u201d He later told the cameras: \u201cI think sometimes that Janelle has pit me against the boys. I\u2019m having the hardest time not just feeling like she\u2019s betraying me.\u201d<\/p>\n The patriarch argued with Janelle, claiming that she was acting as if she is \u201cnot even copiable\u201d when it comes to the tension between him and their boys. \u201c[You are] copiable for not having any respect for me with the COVID rules. You actually belittled the stuff that I was doing,\u201d he told his second wife. Kody revealed he was \u201cmad as hell\u201d that Janelle didn\u2019t have his back during that time period.<\/p>\n \u201cI cannot believe I have done all this to save you. To save truly to save my children. I did not know that it wouldn\u2019t harm them,\u201d he said of his quarantine rules. \u201cI got criticism from you. From my boys. The worst criticism. Zero respect. My heart is broken. Christine left because of this.\u201d<\/p>\n Janelle countered: \u201cYou and I see it very differently. You\u2019re acting like this is my fault. I was doing what I could. I was walking a line between my adult children and you and everybody else.
