The 26-year old was an inspiration to us all.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (TikTok)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cMadison passed away peacefully last night,\u201d the star\u2019s fianc\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/maddy-baloy-tiktoker-terminal-cancer-dead-at-26-8641354\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Louis Risher told People Magazine<\/a> in a statement on Thursday, May 2, adding that she was \u201csurrounded with love\u201d at the time of her death and telling this outlet:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is so special. I turned 27 yesterday, actually. I was holding her hand all day and that\u2019s all I needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baloy started experiencing stomach issues in the summer of 2022 and then spent more than a year changing her diet in hopes of solving the discomfort.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2023, however, she repeatedly vomited blood and began experiencing sensory problems.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C4JUeTPS07w\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>After visiting a doctor and having numerous tests ran, Baloy was later diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 cancer \u2014 and given five years at the most to live.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I thought was a simple visit to urgent care to be seen for a common stomach bug turned into the most devastating ruin of my life in relation to health, spirit, and finances,\u201d she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/madison-battle-stage-4-cancer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote on a GoFundMe page<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n<p>This was shortly after Baloy learned of her illness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince my cancer diagnosis a few days ago, I have already undergone two surgeries and am now facing chemotherapy and will require future surgeries in the near future,\u201d she added back then.<\/p>\n<p>From there, Baloy joined TikTok because she felt \u201calone and isolated\u201d following her diagnosis, using the VERY popular platform to document all she was going through at the time.<\/p>\n<p>In one of her most widely-viewed pieces of footage, Baloy named 19 of her 20 bucket list items\u2026 ranging from getting a tattoo with her grandma and having a \u201cbeautiful wedding\u201d to meeting chef Gordon Ramsay, who did eventually get together with in February 2024.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C35kseUvggu\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>As you can see above, Baloy also joined actor Taylor Lautner and his wife just over two months ago on an episode of their podcast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy heart is bursting at the number of people who have reached out to me asking to help in anyway possible,\u201d wrote Baloy on her GoFundMe account.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs I now require around-the-clock care, Louis and I are now unable to work and finances will be extremely tight. Any amount donated will be a blessing. If you can\u2019t help financially, a prayer is perfect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease continue cheering for my tiny family of myself, Louis, and our weenie, Binks.
