If you tuned in to last night\u2019s Survivor<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, or were on social media since the latest episode aired, you may have seen that one of the contestants \u2013 Liz Wilcox<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 had an emotionally charged moment when she wasn\u2019t chosen for the reward feast.<\/p>\n The winner of the reward challenge \u2013 Q <\/strong>– got to pick three of his fellow castaways to join him for a day of indulging in Applebee\u2019s. He chose Maria<\/strong>, Tiffany<\/strong>, and Kenzie<\/strong>. Liz<\/strong>, who voted for Q<\/strong> to leave the island the previous evening, was visibly upset at his decision.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Liz <\/strong>made it clear that her and her daughter love going to Applebee\u2019s and watching Survivor <\/em>together every Wednesday. She also had not eaten in days due to food allergies. Many of the contestants are able to forage for coconuts and fruit, but Liz<\/strong>\u2018s allergies do not allow her to eat very much.<\/p>\n She ended up screaming at Q <\/strong>and crying after he did not choose her.<\/p>\n Jeff <\/strong>revealed his reaction on his On Fire with Jeff Probst podcast<\/a>, saying, \u201cMy reaction on the day was very similar to the reaction I had just now hearing it again on this podcast. It\u2019s obviously upsetting. That\u2019s real emotion and absolute vulnerability.\u201d<\/p>\n He shared, \u201cThis is the kind of moment on Survivor <\/em>when a lot of people will make fun, and there will be memes. But imagine that\u2019s you, and for whatever reason you\u2019ve been triggered in the same way. I mean, that is proof that you forget about the cameras because there\u2019s no facade going on there.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI have a lot of empathy for Liz<\/strong>, but it is also part of the adventure that comes with playing this game because it is designed to push you, and sometimes it does push you so far out of your comfort zone that you break down in some way,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n Jeff <\/strong>also addressed comments about the product placement.<\/p>\n \u201cShe said, we go every Wednesday night, and she had a photo of herself and her daughter at Applebee\u2019s. So when I\u2019m out there and I say \u2018Applebee\u2019s\u2019 to the players, I just want you to know those are not prompted reactions. We\u2019re not holding up big cards saying \u2018Applause! Applebee\u2019s!\u2019 That\u2019s legitimate. And I think it\u2019s one of the very best partnerships we\u2019ve ever had on the show for that reason.
