Fans have been getting to know Jesse Solomon<\/strong><\/a> ever since he joined the cast of Summer House<\/em>\u2018<\/a>s season 8, which premiered in February. He tells Life & Style<\/em> exclusively how his life has changed after going from working in finance to becoming a reality star<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s pretty similar just outside of the fact that like I went to the Bahamas last weekend and so many people stopped me and asked for photos, which was super cool,\u201d Jesse, 30, \u200bexplains, revealing it led to a somewhat embarrassing experience.<\/p>\n \u201cThe first girl that recognized me was like, \u2018Jesse Solomon?! Can I take a shot out of your chest dent?\u2019 I was like \u2018yes, of course!\u2019 But then it got put on social media and everybody was like \u2018why are you letting this random girl chug out of your chest?\u2019 I was like \u2018I don\u2019t know, it was funny at the time,’\u201d he \u200bjokes.<\/p>\n \u201cBut yeah, I think just like I\u2019m getting invited to cool events and brands are hitting me up. It\u2019s everything you would think once you\u2019re on reality TV,\u201d the former financial services executive<\/a> shared.<\/p>\n Jesse \u200bgives more insight as to how he got cast on the show, too. \u201cKyle<\/strong> [Cooke<\/strong>] and I had met in the city and the producers reached out to me and it was a really quick process from there. They hit me up on June 14th and I was out in the Hamptons filming by July 2nd. It was a bang bang play. Everybody was super great. It was like what am I doing, but why not? I\u2019m really glad I did it,\u201d he \u200brecalls.<\/p>\n The University of Miami graduate \u200breveals, however, that he had \u201ca bunch\u201d of hesitations about joining Summer House<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI was pretty nervous about the whole thing. I\u2019m like a finance bro working in New York City, I worked at a publicly traded company, and it\u2019s not a good look to be getting hammered and hooking up with girls on national television. I\u2019m sure there\u2019s like a lot of compliance regulations but I just thought this was a more fun path,\u201d he says, adding, \u201cI wanted to go party in the Hamptons and make some new friends and I\u2019m glad I did.\u201d<\/p>\n Fortunately, Kyle was able to help get Jesse prepared for being a reality TV star. \u201cI sat down with Kyle for two-hour long drinks and just really talked through everything. He gave me a lot of good advice. I think he\u2019s probably f\u2013ked up everything that you could possible f\u2013k up at least once,\u201d he says with a laugh about his pal.<\/p>\n Jesse \u200badds, \u201cHe was really helpful and really nice and welcoming. Most of the cast were nice and welcoming but it just took a little time for everybody to warm up to me. I think I came in a little hot, but I am what I am!\u201d<\/p>\n Jesse spoke to Life & Style<\/em> after teaming up with Movember, the leading global charity changing the face of men\u2019s health, to spread the word on their \u201cKnow Thy Nuts\u201d campaign. He\u2019s five-years cancer-free after battling testicular cancer<\/a>, which he has discussed during his season on Summer House<\/em>.<\/p>\n
