Barbra Streisand<\/a> may have meant for her recent comment on <\/span>Melissa McCarthy<\/a>‘s post to be a DM!<\/span><\/p>\n On Monday, the <\/span>Little Mermaid<\/span><\/em> star took to Instagram to share a photo of her and choreographer and producer Adam Shankman during an event, showing off their pastel-colored outfits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Pastels only to honor the incredible @matthewbourne13 at the @ctgla gala last night with this fella @adamshankman !! Thiiiiis much closer to my dream of dancing on stage \ud83d\udc83\ud83c\udffb\ud83d\udc9a\ud83e\ude77,” McCarthy wrote.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In the photo, she stuns in a green tulle dress with a matching blazer, and completes her look with a colorful clutch. For his part, Shankman looks dapper in a relaxed pink suit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While the comments were filled with support, Streisand’s was a standout.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?,” the 82-year-old Hollywood icon asked in a since-deleted comment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Streisand’s comment remained on the post for several hours, garnering a number of responses from fans before it was eventually removed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Are we seriously all here for that Barbara comment \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02,” one fan asked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I think Barbara thought it was a dm,” another added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Omg take away Barb’s internet right now,” another quipped.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Neither McCarthy nor\u00a0Streisand commented or addressed the comment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The comment isn’t the first time the “Woman in Love” singer has had trouble with technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2023, while promoting her autobiography, Streisand revealed that she had a very special chat with Apple CEO Tim Cook, after Siri was mispronouncing her name.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “My name isn’t spelled with a ‘Z’…It’s Strei-<\/span>sand,<\/span><\/i>\u00a0like sand on the beach. How simple can you get?,” she told the <\/span>BBC<\/a><\/em>. “And Tim Cook was so lovely. He had Siri change the pronunciation… I guess that\u2019s one perk of fame!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
