JoJo Siwa, Chlo\u00e9 Lukasiak, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Kendall Vertes, and Kalani Hilliker and agreed to appear. <\/p>\n<p>Noticeably absent from the special are OG cast member Nia Sioux and sisters Kenzie and\u00a0Maddie Ziegler. Behind JoJo, Maddie is arguably the most famous face to come out of the franchise. During the special, JoJo even took things a step further and called out all of the girls, like Maddie, who turned down the reunion special because of her complicated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2022\/06\/abby-lee-miller-slams-maddie-ziegler-she-loved-dance-moms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">relationship with Abby Lee Miller<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThem not being here is kind of like, \u2018Let me erase my past, pretend it never happened, shove it down the drain,\u2019\u201d JoJo said to the other girls. \u201cWhen it\u2019s like, that\u2019s why you are who you are.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>It seems most other girls agreed with JoJo, like Kalani, who can be seen nodding along, and Kendall Vertes, who added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would not be here without\u00a0<em>Dance Moms<\/em>. She has another film, <em>Fitting In<\/em>, coming out in 2024. <\/p>\n<p>In short, Maddie is growing up and growing away from the little girl people saw on-screen. And honestly, isn\u2019t that the way it should be?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not always going to be that little girl,\u201d she told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teenvogue.com\/story\/maddie-ziegler-new-hollywood-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teen Vogue <\/a><\/em>in March. \u201cI\u2019m still that same goofy, loving, hard-working girl, but I\u2019m also changing and growing.
