Grammy nominated and actor Halle Bailey had her son Halo in January 2024. Halle revealed that she’s been quietly navigating postpartum depression.<\/p>\n

Halle took to social media to share her experience. \u201cI look at him [Halo] and I cry because of how special he is. The only thing that has been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body. It\u2019s crazy. I feel like a completely different person when I look in the mirror, I just feel like I\u2019m in a whole new body. I don\u2019t know who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Halle was honest and admitted that she feels as if she’s flailing. She shared, \u201cIt almost feels like you\u2019re swimming in this ocean that\u2019s the biggest waves you\u2019ve ever felt, and you\u2019re trying not to drown, and you\u2019re trying to come up for air. You have those moments where you come up for air and they\u2019re like the most beautiful things and it\u2019s great. Then, you have those moments where you\u2019re drowning in it. It has nothing to do with my baby, it has everything to do with me and who I am right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
