Clearing the air. Andy Cohen<\/strong> <\/a>set the record straight about why he yelled at Larsa Pippen<\/strong><\/a> while filming The Real Housewives of Miami<\/em><\/a> season 5 reunion.<\/p>\n \u201c[I] do want to give you a little more inside tea, which is everyone was speculating after the Housewives of Miami reunion,\u201d the Bravo executive producer, 54, said during SiriusXM\u2019s radio show Andy Cohen Live<\/em> on Monday, March 20.<\/p>\n The host noted that he had teased his fight with Pippen, 48, at the time of the taping. \u201cI posted something saying, \u2018I yelled at Larsa and I apologize, Larsa,’\u201d he continued on Monday. \u201cAnd so, people have been trying to figure out, well, what did I yell at her about? What did I get so heated about? And I, to be honest with you, I kind of remembered, but then when I saw the clips, I was like, \u2018That was it.’\u201d<\/p>\n As fans saw, Cohen wasn\u2019t happy when Pippen made a comment about when Nicole Martin<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s 3-year-old son, Greyson, was conceived.<\/p>\n \u201cI usually don\u2019t editorialize and I did with The Housewives of Miami<\/em>. Basically, Larsa was kind of \u2014 it seemed to me \u2014 weaponizing to Nicole that her child was born out of wedlock,\u201d he explained, referring to Martin\u2019s child with fianc\u00e9 Anthony Lopez<\/strong>. \u201cLike she was saying, \u2018I could be calling out that your son was born out of wedlock.\u2019 Now when you say, \u2018I could be using something as a weapon,\u2019 you\u2019re basically doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n The Missouri native continued: \u201cAnd it was a little bit of semantics because Nicole kept saying, \u2018You called my son a bastard.\u2019 And she said, \u2018I didn\u2019t, I just said he was born out of wedlock.\u2019 And to me, to even bring it up I said, \u2018Well, that was an a\u2014hole thing to say to her.\u2019 And I was pretty heated about it.\u201d<\/p>\n Cohen, who is a single father of son Benjamin, 4, and daughter Lucy, 10 months<\/a>, took Pippen\u2019s comments to heart.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd it will come as no surprise to anyone why I got so heated. I have two children. I\u2019m a single dad of two children,\u201d he added. \u201cSo there is no other person, there is no other parent. But I got super sensitive to the idea of that being weaponized. And that\u2019s why I jumped in there, and there you go.\u201d<\/p>\n Cohen previously took to social media to issue a public apology to the reality star while cameras were rolling on the RHOM<\/em> special.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re still shooting and I didn\u2019t have screaming at Larsa on my bingo card today,\u201d he said via his Instagram Stories in January.<\/p>\n In response, Pippen could be heard in the background, saying, \u201cAre you going to apologize?\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cAndy Cohen Diaries\u201d author, for his part, noted that he didn\u2019t expect things to take a turn at the reunion<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t like screaming at women.
