The actress-turned Goop founder, 51, is renowned for her dedication to brutal fitness, diet and detox regimes, but has now admitted during an \u2018Ask me Anything\u2019 question-and-answer session on her Instagram Stories she has dialled down her gym obsession.<\/p>\n
When asked by a fan how many days a week she works out, Gwyneth responded with a selfie video that showed her walking around her Goop office, and admitted: \u201cI do something six days a week, but with a lot less intensity than I used to.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven just going for an hour walk, or like now, I\u2019m walking around our giant Goop office.<\/p>\n
\u201cI usually take multiple spins around to stretch my legs.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I try to do something \u2013 a little something \u2013 everyday.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMum-of-two Gwyneth, who has daughter Apple, 19, and son Moses, 18, with her 47-year-old Coldplay frontman ex-husband Chris Martin, was also asked how she has got \u201ccomfortable\u201d in her skin and learned to love herself.<\/p>\n
\nGwyneth, who is now married to TV producer Brad Falchuk, 53, said she first had to \u201ctalk to myself\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nReferencing the 77-year old Belgian fashion designer, she added: \u201cDiane von F\u00fcrstenberg taught me how to do that \u2013 how to wake up in the morning and look at myself and be happy to see myself and say nice things to myself instead of terrible things to myself.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe really taught me about the importance of becoming your own best friend.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd that really is how you relate to yourself and things you say to yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nGwyneth also recently admitted in another fan Q and A she loved wearing Spanx as \u201cworkout clothing\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nSharing a photo of her wearing what appeared to be a pair of red Booty Boost Active Contour Rib 7\/8 Leggings from the company, she admitted: \u201cWeirdly I am very into Spanx.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe also said she got into the wellness industry as the result of her late dad Bruce Paltrow\u2019s health challenges, which ended in his death from throat cancer in October 2002 when he was aged 58.<\/p>\n
\nGwyneth revealed: \u201cIt was actually because my father was diagnosed with cancer when I was about 25 years old and that started to catalyse my foray into understanding food, environmental toxins, food as medicine (and) alternative stuff like acupuncture.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo it started a long time ago \u2013 I don\u2019t know, in the mid-\u201990s, because of my dad.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
