It\u2019s been almost four years since Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> pulled the plug on her marriage to her former manager, Brandon Blackstock<\/strong><\/a>, and two since they settled their divorce. But their legal battles continue to rage on.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile Kelly has moved on emotionally from Brandon, she has no problem being tied up with him in court if it concerns her business and career,\u201d a source exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t disparage him in front of the kids, and she\u2019s cordial and civil, but when it comes to the law and her money, she won\u2019t be bulldozed<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n First, they fought over custody of kids River Rose, 9, and Remington, 8. Then came a property battle. The singer and talk show host, 42, came out on top, securing full custody and 95 percent ownership of her $17.8M Montana ranch \u2014 though she was ordered to pay her ex a $1.3M lump sum plus $115,000 in monthly spousal support until January 2024.<\/p>\n Now she\u2019s suing, demanding he pay her the more than $2.6M a California labor commissioner ruled she\u2019s owed in November \u2014 repayments for commissions Brandon, 47, and his former management firm took while acting as Kelly\u2019s \u201cunlicensed talent agents.\u201d (He\u2019s denied \u201ceach and every allegation\u201d in her March lawsuit.) \u201cTheir marriage was full of twisted lies,\u201d claims the source. \u201cShe just wants what\u2019s hers.\u201d<\/p>\n Relocating to NYC in 2023 \u201cgave Kelly a new beginning,\u201d adds the source, who says \u201ca core group of friends Kelly\u2019s known for 30 years have been her rock.\u201d Though she insisted last fall that \u201cI love being single,\u201d she\u2019s also admitted she\u2019d \u201clove to fall in love\u201d again. \u201cEveryone is eager to set her up,\u201d says the source, \u201cand she does go out to meet people, but there hasn\u2019t been anything very serious \u2014 yet.\u201d\n<\/p>\n They were supposed to be forging an idyllic life in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n Instead, it descended into a nightmare. In early 2020, Elizabeth Chambers<\/strong> and Armie Hammer<\/strong> relocated from LA to the Cayman Islands, where his family lived, with kids Harper, 9, and Ford, 7, to ride out the pandemic. \u201cThe \u2018Cayman Curse\u2019 is when a couple moves to the island together,\u201d Elizabeth said on the new reality show Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise<\/em>, \u201cand then they end up separating or divorcing \u2014 and it tracks.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bird Bakery owner, 41, ended their 10-year marriage, which had been deteriorating, that summer and soon initiated a divorce that became \u201criddled with scandal,\u201d she said, as multiple women came forward to accuse the Call Me by Your Name<\/em> actor, 37, of sexual misconduct, including cannibalistic fetishism. Armie has insisted their encounters (some of which occurred during his marriage) were all consensual.<\/p>\n Their public split was \u201cabsolute hell,\u201d and she \u201cwouldn\u2019t wish it upon anyone,\u201d Elizabeth recently said. But now, \u201ca lot of the trauma\u2026is behind me,\u201d she added. \u201cI\u2019m very much at a place where I\u2019m ready for a fresh start.\u201d<\/p>\n Elizabeth even began dating in 2022, but, as she wrote on social media last year, \u201cmy main (and only) priority has been to mitigate trauma and protect my kids at all costs.\u201d<\/p>\n Adds an insider: \u201cAs open as she\u2019s been, when it comes to her family, Elizabeth says, \u2018Nobody knows what we\u2019ve been through.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n Six years after their separation and five years after a judge declared them legally single, Jenna Dewan<\/strong><\/a> and Channing Tatum<\/strong><\/a> still haven\u2019t settled the financial side of their divorce. \u201cIt was contentious from the start,\u201d says a source. \u201cThey fought about everything from posting their daughter [Everly, 10] on social media to custody to assets.\u201d<\/p>\n The money fight is only getting worse, though. \u201cThey both want to move on,\u201d notes the source, \u201cbut both also refuse to budge.\u201d<\/p>\n At the crux of their problems is how to divide profits from the intellectual property associated with Magic Mike<\/em>. While the 2012 film about male strippers Channing, 44, \u200bcocreated and its sequels grossed $346M globally, other \u201cextremely lucrative\u201d offshoots include live shows that reportedly sold $125M worth of tickets as of 2023. Jenna wants half the money, claiming in new court docs those were developed \u201cduring [the] marriage with community effort and marital funds.\u201d However, Channing\u2019s team insists much of what\u2019s at stake is his separate property.<\/p>\n Jenna, 43, has also accused Channing of lying by omission, alleging he didn\u2019t tell her about Magic Mike business opportunities and \u201ccollected 100 percent of the profits\u201d after their separation without her knowledge. He again denies any wrongdoing. Now, the exes are preparing for a trial.<\/p>\n \u201cJenna seeks a fair financial resolution to her divorce,\u201d her rep, Jeffrey Chassen<\/strong>, tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cThis resolution is simply what she is legally due by law.\u201d<\/p>\n Indeed, though Jenna\u2019s been happily engaged to Tony Award winner Steve Kazee<\/strong>, 48, since 2020 and is now expecting their second child (their son, Callum, is 4), \u201cshe\u2019s not backing down,\u201d says a source. \u201cJenna would love to get this resolved before she walks down the aisle again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\nElizabeth Chambers and Armie Hammer<\/h2>\n
