Zack Snyder, known for films like 300 <\/em>and the four-hour \u201cSnyder Cut\u201d of Justice League<\/em>, is working on an RPG set in the universe of his forthcoming Netflix sci-fi movie Rebel Moon<\/em>, he teased in a podcast interview on Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThe one thing that I\u2019m really having a really good time with is \u2014 and I don\u2019t even know if I\u2019m supposed to talk about it \u2014 this RPG that we\u2019re doing that is just literally insane and so immersive and so intense and so huge,\u201d Snyder said in an interview on The Nerd Queens<\/em> podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Snyder didn\u2019t share many details beyond that and the Rebel Moon<\/em> connection \u2014 he doesn\u2019t even specify what kind<\/em> of RPG it is, though it seems like a video game \u2014 but he mentioned that he didn\u2019t want to make a \u201ccausal\u201d game and that he wanted the game to be done at \u201cridiculous scale.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n We\u2019ll have to wait to hear more about what this game could be, but I\u2019m personally skeptical. Planning for \u201cridiculous scale\u201d might mean that the game bites off more than it can chew and hopefully won\u2019t come at the expense of the development team. It could have tough competition from another big new sci-fi title in Bethesda\u2019s long-awaited Starfield<\/em><\/a>, which looks to be on a pretty ridiculous scale of its own<\/a>. And since Rebel Moon<\/em> doesn\u2019t debut until December 22nd<\/a>, we won\u2019t know if it\u2019s an interesting universe for a game for quite a while. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n For now, we\u2019ll have to wonder about how good this Rebel Moon<\/em> game might be.
