Just like Us<\/em>, Janet Caperna<\/strong> learned the rumors about Michelle Lally<\/strong> allegedly having a secret boyfriend while watching the newest episode of The Valley<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we saw the episode, that was the first time I had heard anything about a boyfriend,\u201d Janet exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> about costar Kristen Doute<\/strong> making the allegations<\/a> to producers away from the rest of the cast. \u201cI literally paused it and I told [husband] Jason [Caperna]<\/strong> to rewind. \u2018Did Kristen just say boyfriend? What is going on here?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Janet was just as \u201cshocked\u201d as the audience, adding, \u201cBecause Kristen didn\u2019t say that in front of all of us at the table. She walked down to the lobby and said it there in front of cameras and stuff. But at the time I had no idea she said that.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the Tuesday, April 23, episode of The Valley<\/em>, Kristen once again referenced \u201cholding all of\u201d Michelle\u2019s \u201csecrets\u201d and finally dropped the bombshell after Michelle\u2019s husband, Jesse Lally<\/strong>, threatened her and nearly got physical<\/a> with several cast members.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause she had a f\u2014king boyfriend for a year. There we all said it. Now she\u2019s protecting him and not me,\u201d Kristen claimed. \u201cAbout a year ago, Michelle and Jesse were very unhappy. Michelle had a guy. She was seeing him, they were hanging out. I was not against any of this because I think Jesse is a piece of s\u2014t.\u201d<\/p>\n

After watching the episode, Janet still isn\u2019t on Kristen\u2019s side<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish that Kristen in that moment would\u2019ve said this in front of Michelle, so that Michelle had the opportunity to defend herself and explain what is or is not going on,\u201d Janet told Us<\/em>. \u201cSo I thought that was kind of a cheap shot for Kristen to kind of wait until nobody else is there to speak for themselves and say something like that. That\u2019s just a huge bomb that\u2019s being dropped. I wish she would\u2019ve given Michelle the opportunity to speak for herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Janet doesn\u2019t think Michelle even needed to address the speculation<\/a>, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t know if there\u2019s anything to come clean about. I\u2019m still kind of confused on that one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesse and Michelle, who have since separated after nearly six years of marriage<\/a>, were plagued with rumors of infidelity since The Valley<\/em> premiered earlier this year. In a sneak peek clip for next week\u2019s episode, Michelle denied to Jesse that there was any validity to Kristen\u2019s claims<\/a> \u2014 although it\u2019s unclear if they were told about the footage of Kristen alleging she has a boyfriend.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m like ,\u2019When does she have time for a boyfriend?\u2019 If she does, then I want to take a time management course from Michelle. If she had time for all that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Valley<\/em> was filmed last summer. In real time, Michelle recently revealed she is dating someone new<\/a> after her and Jesse called it quits.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone amazing. I like our little privacy for the moment,\u201d Michelle wrote via Instagram Q&A on Saturday, April 20, before explaining where she and Jesse stand now. \u201cMy only goal is to be friends one day.\u201d<\/p>\n
