Hollywood’s awards season has its fair share of light-hearted banter, but Emma Stone<\/a><\/strong> made it clear that she does not take such jests to heart.<\/p>\n

During the Oscars earlier this year, host Jimmy Kimme<\/a><\/strong>l made a quip following the montage for \u201cPoor Things,\u201d a nominee for Best Picture, saying, \u201cThose were all the parts of Poor Things that we\u2019re allowed to show on TV.\u201d The camera then cut to Stone, who appeared irritated, sparking rumors and internet chatter that she took offense. Some even speculated she was caught on camera mouthing the word \u201cprick\u201d in response<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, in a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>, Stone clarified her reaction, dismissing any allegations of offense. \u201cDid he upset me?\u201d she responded when The Hollywood Reporter asked her about the moment. \u201cNo! I didn’t call him a prick. What did I say? I didn’t call him a prick. I wasn’t upset with him at all. I’ll have to look that up. I\u2019m near-unoffendable.\u201d<\/p>\n
