Kim Petras<\/strong><\/a> has been forced to cancel all of her music festival gigs this summer as a health precaution.<\/p>\n

The \u201cCoconuts\u201d singer, 31, took to social media on Wednesday, April 24 to announce the unfortunate news.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy buns, I\u2019m devastated to be writing this but I\u2019m going through some health issues and under medical advice I had to make the hard decision to not perform at festivals this summer,\u201d Petras wrote via her Instagram Story. \u201cI love u so much and I\u2019ll make it up to you be back better than ever very soon \ud83d\udc95\ud83d\udc95\ud83d\udc95\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans flooded Petras\u2019 comment section on X, where she also shared the statement<\/a>, to share their support.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe new year is still young, but the calendar is already full of music festivals showcasing artists of all genres \u2014 and drawing in the biggest celebs. Festival season is usually characterized by surprise collaborations, major fashion moments and controversy, and 2024 will likely be no different. From Boston to L.A., dozens of different events [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cFeel better,\u201d one person wrote. \u201cYour health and well-being matters more than some festivals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another shared, \u201cThe most important thing is that you\u2019re being real. how can you show up & show out for us if you\u2019re not doing well yourself? I wish you the absolute best kim! we\u2019ll be here waiting no matter what babe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Petras was scheduled to perform at May\u2019s Primavera Sound in Barcelona, June\u2019s Mighty Hoopla in London and Primavera Porto in Portugal and July\u2019s Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle.<\/p>\n

After Petras broke the news, the festivals reached out to express their condolences to the pop star.<\/p>\n
