\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Paul Forman<\/strong><\/a> has an exciting new role!<\/p>\n The 30-year-old actor, best known for his role on Emily In Paris<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, will be guest starring in the upcoming new season of Doctor Who<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Paul<\/strong>\u2018s character will reportedly be \u201cfacing off against Ncuti Gatwa<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Doctor,\u201d according to EW<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Find out more about his role inside\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The actor will portray \u201ca mysterious Regency-era character named Lord Barton, who has a surface-level charm but carries sinister secrets underneath his smooth words.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAny new chapter is exciting to be a part of, especially when it\u2019s of a beloved and remarkable universe such as Doctor Who<\/em>,\u201d Paul<\/strong> shared in a statement. \u201cTo join such an established project and to combine it with this feeling of new and unbounded possibilities was thrilling. It made this role a special experience that I will never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n His character, Lord Barton, is set to make an appearance in the sixth episode, which is titled \u201cRogue.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSomeone like Paul <\/strong>isn\u2019t just a name; he\u2019s a talent,\u201d showrunner Russell T Davies<\/strong><\/a> said. \u201cHe comes along in episode 6, and it\u2019s a whale of a time. We\u2019ve all seen Emily in Paris<\/em>, and we\u2019ve seen him being one sort of person. I don\u2019t think anyone\u2019s quite expecting him to become this sort of person.\u201d<\/p>\n Doctor Who<\/em>\u2018s new season will kick off on Friday, May 10th at 7pm EDT on Disney+ in the U.S. and around the world.
