Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong><\/a> has seen an endless amount of Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> couples call it quits over the years and she exclusively told Life & Style<\/em> that she is \u201csorry to see\u201d Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> and Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a> separate.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, you know, it\u2019s common divorce nowadays. And if you\u2019d look at potentially two young reality stars probably have less of a chance of it being successful than most people,\u201d Lisa, 63, told Life & Style<\/em> during the grand opening of her Lake Tahoe restaurant concept, Wolf by Vanderpump. \u201cBut when you have a baby and I think she really wanted that kind of, you know, relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> alum admitted that she doesn\u2019t know what went wrong in The Valley<\/em> stars\u2019 relationship, but she \u201cwould imagine Jax hasn\u2019t been perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been married for 42 years [with husband Ken Todd<\/strong>]. I have a lot of that. I think marriage is push and pull,\u201d Lisa explained. \u201cYou know it\u2019s about having a sense of humor. It\u2019s about forgiveness. It\u2019s about getting it wrong sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans watched Jax, 44, begin dating the Kentucky native during season 5 of Vanderpump Rules<\/em>. Though their relationship moved rather quickly, Jax and Brittany, 35, faced major issues before they decided to spend a lifetime together.<\/p>\n In between filming seasons 5 and 6, Jax was sleeping with former costar Faith Stowers<\/strong>. An NSFW<\/a> recording of Jax and Faith, 35, circulated around the then-tight-knit VPR<\/em> cast and the audio made its way toward Brittany during her and Jax\u2019s chilly housewarming party.<\/p>\n It took the Bravo stars a while to get over the infidelity, but they eventually mended their relationship and Jax proposed in June 2018. Not only did viewers see the former SUR bartender get down on one knee, but they also watched their fairytale wedding the following year.<\/p>\n The pair, who share son Cruz<\/a>, announced their separation<\/a> amid split rumors in February, after filming for The Valley<\/em> season 1 wrapped.<\/p>\n \u201cWe filmed The Valley<\/em> months ago \u2014 months and months and months ago. And we\u2019re super excited for this to come out and there\u2019s been so many changes that has happened in so every single couple\u2019s lives \u2014 every single couple on the show,\u201d Brittany said during an episode of their joint podcast \u201cWhen Reality Hits.\u201d \u201cI just want to make that very clear: no publicity stunts here.\u201d<\/p>\n Brittany appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em> on April 3, and reiterated that cheating wasn\u2019t the reason<\/a> behind their split.<\/p>\n \u201cNot that I\u2019m aware of, I really don\u2019t think so,\u201d she told Andy. \u201cWe just had a horrible fight and it was like a veil was lifted and I noticed everything wrong,\u201d the reality star explained. \u201cHe kind of woke up one morning and was mad that I went out with Kristen [Doute]<\/strong> the night before and kind of, like, made up a story in his own head and started a fight over something that never happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
