Nicola Peltz Beckham<\/strong><\/a> had a good reason for missing her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham\u2019s<\/strong><\/a>, star-studded 50th birthday party on April 20. The actress was visiting her grandmother on the same night as the bash in London.<\/span><\/p>\n Nicola, 29, shared an Instagram Story photo of herself hugging her grandma on the night of the party. She then followed it up with an image of the birthday girl with husband David Beckham<\/strong> and all four of their kids at the event.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHappy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham,\u201d Nicola captioned the photo. \u201cI\u2019m so sad I\u2019m not there to celebrate and hug you! Sending all my love from me and my naunni. I miss you all so much!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n On Victoria\u2019s actual birthday, April 17, Nicola also posted an Instagram tribute to the designer. Along with a photo of them together, she wrote, \u201cHappy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham. I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Although Nicola wasn\u2019t there to dance with Victoria at her party, the former singer had plenty of good company. David, 48, even shared a now-viral video of his wife and her former Spice Girls band members<\/a> performing a dance to their 1997 hit \u201cStop.\u201d It was a reunion for the ages!<\/span><\/p>\n After Nicola and Brooklyn Beckham got married<\/a> in April 2022, there were rumors that she was feuding<\/a> with Victoria. The rumors began when fans realized that Victoria didn\u2019t design her daughter-in-law\u2019s wedding dress, while reports surfaced that claimed there was tension between the women amid the wedding planning process.<\/span><\/p>\n Later that year, Nicola shut down the feud rumors. \u201cI was going to [wear one of Victoria\u2019s dresses] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn\u2019t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,\u201d she explained. \u201cShe didn\u2019t say, \u2018You can\u2019t wear it.\u2019 I didn\u2019t say I didn\u2019t want to wear it. That\u2019s where it started and then they ran with it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Victoria also responded to the rumored feud, telling The Sun<\/em>, \u201cIt\u2019s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere, that word, \u2018Feud feud feud.\u2019 I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they\u2019re labeling it feud?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In a March 2023 interview, Nicola reiterated the truth. \u201cI\u2019ve said this so many times. There\u2019s no feud,\u201d she insisted. \u201cI don\u2019t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things.
