Luke Bryan<\/strong><\/a> laughed off his recent fall after being asked on American Idol<\/em><\/a> about the now-viral moment.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, April 21, episode of the singing competition series, host Ryan Seacrest<\/strong> referenced Bryan\u2019s<\/a> recent tumble.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to check to make sure. Luke, you\u2019re moving OK?\u201d Seacrest, 49, joked. \u201cYou looked alright at the open of the show there. Are you damaged in any way?\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow judge Katy Perry<\/strong> subsequently urged<\/a> Bryan, 47, to share his side of the story. Bryan, initially pretended he didn\u2019t know what Seacrest was referring to, saying, \u201cWhat are you talking about, Ryan?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIn the two decades American Idol has graced the small screen, fans have witnessed many tense interactions between the show\u2019s contestants, judges and hosts. Things got heated between season 22 contestant Madai ChaKell and judge Luke Bryan during a March 2024 Hollywood Week episode of the series after ChaKell stopped her performance of Ariana Grande\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After Seacrest played a clip of Bryan\u2019s headline-making slip, the country singer called the moment \u201cgood old-fashioned foolishness.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m alright, baby!\u201d Bryan added. \u201c[It was] actually the best moment of the night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryan remained in good spirits when he performed John Mellencamp<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cSmall Town\u201d during the live TV broadcast.<\/p>\n

Footage from the Saturday, April 20, event showed Bryan abruptly falling on his back after slipping <\/a>on a fan\u2019s phone before laughing off the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cHold on. Did anybody get that?\u201d Bryan asked the crowd as he checked himself for potential injuries. \u201cIt\u2019s OK. Hey, my lawyer will be calling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryan threw the phone back into the crowd<\/a> before asking whether anyone filmed his fall. \u201cYou\u2019re Snapchatting. You can\u2019t Snapchat this s\u2013t,\u201d he told an audience member. \u201cOh, yes! Alright, here we go again. There I am, there we go \u2026 there it is! This is viral, alright, this is viral.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryan had been in the news earlier this month for addressing speculation about his \u201cred\u201d eyes<\/a> and swollen hands. Bryan clarified in an interview earlier this month that his appearance wasn\u2019t from smoking marijuana following fan concern.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust so we know, if I do interviews and I look like I\u2019ve been smoking pot, that\u2019s not true. I\u2019ve been catching bass,\u201d Bryan told Audacy on April 16 about his allergy. \u201cIf I touch a bass, my eyes will get red, my hands will swell if I have to take the hook out. I\u2019ll get in front of it. I\u2019m like, \u2018I know I\u2019m going to fish today,\u2019 so I\u2019ll take an Allegra in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryan said he \u201cspent years\u201d unaware about his health scare.<\/p>\n
