Isla Fisher<\/a> is “leaning on” Nicole Kidman amid her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.<\/p>\n

Isla Fisher is being supported by close pal Nicole Kidman as he goes through painful divorce<\/p>\n

The ‘Borat’ star, 52, and ‘Wedding Crashers’ actress, 48 – who have children Olive, 17, and Elula, 13, and Montgomery, nine, together – confirmed earlier this month that they had filed for divorce last year after more than two decades together, and her close pal Nicole, 56, has been offering her support, having gone through a painful divorce from Tom Cruise<\/a>, 61, in 2001, after 12 years of marriage, due to “irreconcilable differences”.<\/p>\n

A source told heat magazine: “Isla is desperate for things to be as amicable as possible.<\/p>\n

“Isla is leaning on her friends, and, after going through her own sticky divorce from Tom Cruise<\/a>, Nicole is one of the people helping her through this crisis.<\/p>\n

“No one knows better than Nicole how difficult divorce can be.<\/p>\n

\n“All of Isla’s friends are telling her that it’s better to go through the initial pain of leaving an unhappy marriage, than it is to try and force something to work just for the sake of it.”<\/p>\n

\nIt has since been claimed that Isla and Sacha were divided over their acting and family commitments.<\/p>\n

\nA source told Us Weekly that the pair had allegedly “furiously argued” about “conflicting filming schedules” as well as responsibilities to the their brood.<\/p>\n

\nThe stars shared a statement on social media to announce the news of their split and an image of the pair in tennis whites featured in the photo uploaded to go with the announcement.<\/p>\n

\nThey said: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down.<\/p>\n

\n“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritised our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.<\/p>\n

\n“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family\u2019s wish for privacy.”<\/p>\n

\nSacha has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by ‘Grimsby’ co-star Rebel Wilson in her new memoir ‘Rebel Rising’ but an insider insists that that the split has “nothing to do” with the allegations.<\/p>\n

\nThe source said: “They have been living separate lives since last year but wanted to give this space and time for their children to be OK with this before the news came out and they got all this attention.<\/p>\n

\n“They are notoriously very private people and wanted to focus on their family.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
