A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/target-will-continue-to-sell-physical-media-in-stores-and-online\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spokesperson for Target tells <em>IGN<\/em><\/a> that the company is \u201ctransitioning the limited assortment of DVDs\u201d it sells in stores to its website.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">\u201cMoving forward, we\u2019ll offer select DVDs in stores when they are newly released or during key times throughout the year when they are more popular, like for gift giving during the holidays,\u201d Target says. That will make Target\u2019s physical DVD section even smaller and only available during specific times. But as someone <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/24044151\/streaming-subscription-prices-dvd-collection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who rediscovered a love for DVDs<\/a>, this news is pretty disappointing. After spending years flipping between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/10\/28\/23934629\/streaming-price-hikes-netflix-hulu-disney-plus-expensive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pricey streaming services<\/a>, I\u2019ve found that physically perusing the DVD aisles of a Target, Walmart, or Barnes &amp; Noble makes finding something to watch far less stressful.
