\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert<\/strong><\/em> is getting a sequel 30 years later!<\/p>\n The original 1994 film starred Hugo Weaving<\/strong><\/a>, Guy Pearce<\/strong><\/a>, and Terence Stamp<\/strong><\/a> as two drag performers and a transgender woman who travel around the south Australian desert performing cabaret hits.<\/p>\n On Friday (April 19), director Stephan Elliott<\/strong> confirmed the news of a sequel.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not repeating myself, we\u2019ll start the new film in Australia, but by God, we\u2019re going on one helluva journey,\u201d he told Deadline<\/a>. \u201cThe original cast is on board, I\u2019ve got a script that everybody likes, we\u2019re still working out deals. \u2026It\u2019s happening.\u201d<\/p>\n Stephan<\/strong> also explained why he hesitated to make a sequel.<\/p>\n \u201dI just was not sure, I just didn\u2019t want to repeat myself,\u201d he said. \u201cI thought, what am I going to do? Stick them on a cruise ship, stick them on a train?
