Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> gave fans a new perspective on The Tortured Poets Department<\/em> in the album\u2019s first music video for \u201cFortnight.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer, 34, dropped the video at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, April 19, just hours after the release of her 11th studio album.<\/p>\n

The black-and-white video opens with Swift chained to a bed frame in a hospital room. The scene then transitions into multiple situations where Swift and Malone appear as star-crossed lovers while she sings about a intense love affair.<\/p>\n

Malone isn\u2019t the only superstar to appear in \u201cFortnight,\u201d as actor Ethan Hawke<\/strong> made a surprise cameo as a lab worker.<\/p>\n
