\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> has released the music video for her new song \u201cFortnight\u201d<\/em><\/strong> featuring Post Malone<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n This is the first single off of Taylor<\/strong>\u2018s smash-hit new album The Tortured Poets Department<\/strong><\/a><\/em> and we hope there will be plenty of videos to come, seeing as there are 31 songs altogether from the two editions.<\/p>\n Dead Poets Society<\/em> actors Josh Charles<\/strong><\/a> and Ethan Hawke<\/strong><\/a> make cameos in the video as the scientists.<\/p>\n Head inside to check out the video and see the song meaning\u2026 <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In a new interview with iHeartRadio, Taylor <\/strong>explained the meaning of the song. She says it \u201cexhibits a lot of the common themes that run throughout this album, one of which being fatalism, longing, pining away, lost dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s a very fatalistic album in that there are lots of very dramatic lines about life or death and I love you, it\u2019s ruining my life. These are very hyperbolic, dramatic things to say,\u201d she added. \u201cBut it\u2019s that kind of album \u2013 it\u2019s about a dramatic, artistic, tragic kind of take on love and loss.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor <\/strong>believes that the song takes place in an \u201cAmerican town where the American Dream you thought would happen to you didn\u2019t. You ended up not with the person you loved and now you have to just live with that every day, wondering what would\u2019ve been, maybe seeing them out.
