Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department<\/em><\/a> is here, and her two closest creative partners \u2013 Aaron Dessner<\/strong> and Jack Antonoff<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 couldn\u2019t be happier. Literally.<\/p>\n Antonoff, 40, joined the rest of the Swifties, waiting for TTPD<\/em> to drop at midnight on Friday, April 19, and was overwhelmed with emotion over the new album. \u201cLove this album more than I can say,\u201d Antonoff posted on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cLove you all very much,\u201d he added. Antonoff, who cowrote and coproduced<\/a> 8 songs on TTPD<\/em> (and two tracks on The Anthology, the surprise collection Swift, 34, released at 2 am on Friday, revealing TTPD<\/em> as a double album<\/a>.)<\/p>\n \u201cMore later,\u201d wrote the Bleachers frontman. \u201cVery overwhelmed \u2026 love you, taylor.\u201d<\/p>\n Dessner, 47, shared his thoughts on TTPD<\/em> on Instagram <\/a>while posting a photo of Swift in the recording booth. \u201cI\u2019m so excited and honored to share that I have contributed to my dear friend and collaborator [Swift\u2019s] brilliant 11th album,\u201d he began. \u201cWe started working on these songs over two years ago and it feels like they have kept us company and evolved in beautiful and unexpected ways through so much life lived during this process.\u201d<\/p>\n Dessner \u2013 who has 5 songs on TTPD<\/em>, and cowrote\/coproduced most of The Anthology<\/em> with Swift \u2013 said it was \u201chard to believe\u201d that they\u2019ve recorded over 60 songs since he joined her inner circle in 2020 for her folklore album.<\/p>\n \u201cI am forever grateful to Taylor for sharing her insane talents with and trusting me with her music,\u201d he wrote.\u201d I believe these songs [on TTPD<\/em>] are some of the most lyrically acute, intricate, vulnerable and cathartic<\/a> Taylor has ever written and I am continually astonished by her skills as a songwriter<\/a> and performer.\u201d<\/p>\n
