It turns out that Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> new song \u201cthankK you aIMee\u201d isn\u2019t actually about someone<\/a> named Aimee. Rather, Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> appears to be the subject of the scathing track, which is featured on The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology<\/em>, a surprise second installment of Taylor\u2019s 11th album.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Taylor, 34, noticeably capitalized the letters KIM in the title of the song. In the lyrics, she confirms that using \u201cAimee\u201d in the title was a pseudonym, singing, \u201cI don\u2019t think you\u2019ve changed much and so I changed your name and any real defining clues.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In the chorus, she references her feud with the reality star, 43, as she sings, \u201cAll that time you were throwin\u2019 punches, I was buildin\u2019 somethin\u2019, and I can\u2019t forget the way you made me feel. Screamed, \u2018F\u2013k you, Aimee,\u2019 to the night sky, as the blood was gushin\u2019, but I can\u2019t forget the way you made me heal.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n By the end of the song, she changes the words to say, \u201cThank you, Aimee,\u201d as she realizes how she was able to turn one of the worst times of her life into something so much better.<\/span><\/p>\n Taylor appears to be calling Kim out for what happened in their past. However, she\u2019s also referencing how she was able to rise above it and use the drama \u2013 which she once referred to as \u201ca career death\u201d<\/a> \u2013 to \u201cbuild a legacy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen I count the scars, there\u2019s a moment of truth,\u201d she says. \u201cThat there wouldn\u2019t be this, if there hadn\u2019t been you.\u201d There\u2019s also a lyric that references a child and Kim shares four kids with ex-husband Kanye West. \u201cOne day, your kid comes home singin\u2019 a song that only us two know is about you,\u201d Taylor says.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Perhaps the most scathing line in the song, though, is when she sings, \u201cEveryone knows that my mother is a saintly woman but she used to say she wished you dead.\u201d Interestingly, one of Kim\u2019s kids is actually named Saint, so this may be a play on his name.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
