An American Idol<\/em><\/a> contestant got under country star Luke Bryan<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s thin skin by mocking him \u2014 and boasting she\u2019s never heard any of his songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n Madai ChaKell<\/strong>, 22, flubbed singing Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s \u201cTattooed Heart\u201d on the March 31 episode, prompting Bryan to ask, \u201cMadai, are you feeling OK<\/a>? Is your voice 100 percent?\u201d<\/p>\n ChaKell shot back, \u201cIs your voice OK, Luke? I haven\u2019t heard you sing!\u201d<\/p>\n Bryan had previously ripped her during the auditions<\/a>, saying she was \u201cprobably a year or two away from perfecting yourself as an individual artist.\u201d<\/p>\n Then, on her second try, ChaKell seemingly mocked the Georgia-born artist\u2019s Southern twang while singing \u201cFinal Word.\u201d<\/p>\n Bryan, 47, grimaced<\/a> and asked her why she did that. Switching to a pseudo-British accent, ChaKell told him, \u201cYou said I don\u2019t really know who I am quite yet, so I wanted to show you that I can be everyone and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n ChaKell was soon bounced from the competition<\/a>, but the nasty exchanges apparently aggravated Bryan.<\/p>\n \u201cLuke has made noises about leaving Idol<\/em><\/a> before, and stuff like this only reinforces what he\u2019s already feeling,\u201d an insider exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cHe said, \u2018I\u2019m getting too old to put up with this s\u2013t!’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
