\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Devon Sawa<\/strong><\/a> indirectly has Macaulay Culkin<\/strong><\/a> to thank for one of his most iconic roles. <\/p>\n The 45-year-old Chucky<\/em> actor opened up about a role that he was cast in after the 43-year-old Home Alone<\/em> star turned it down. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n The role in question was a starring one in Eminem<\/strong><\/a> \u201cStan\u201d music video back in 2000. The project has gone down in history as one of the rapper\u2019s most memorable visuals and was nominated for five MTV VMAs. <\/p>\n Speaking to ET<\/a>, Devon<\/strong> explained that he was the second choice. <\/p>\n \u201cThey went out to Macaulay Culkin<\/strong> first,\u201d he recalled. \u201cI think that they wanted him, and he wasn\u2019t available, or didn\u2019t want to do it or whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, saying, \u201cThen Dre<\/strong> [who directed], who had just seen Final Destination<\/em> and was a fan, suggested [me].\u201d <\/p>\n It all worked out from there. \u201cThere happened to be somebody in the casting office that knew somebody who was friends with me, and they called me that way\u2026 and it ended up working out pretty good.\u201d<\/p>\n Devon<\/strong> is clearly grateful for the opportunity, calling it \u201cone of the proudest things I\u2019ve ever been a part of.\u201d <\/p>\n While you\u2019re here, check out the latest about Macaulay<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n \n
