A representative for Sweeney released a statement shared with Variety: \u201cHow sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman. If that\u2019s what she\u2019s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that\u2019s shameful. To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms. Baum\u2019s character.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for Carol Baum, she says she now has regrets. The Hollywood film producer told TMZ on Wednesday<\/a> that she wishes she never said the actress \u201cisn\u2019t pretty\u201d and \u201ccan\u2019t act.\u201d She also told the outlet that \u201ccrapping on an actor like that\u201d in public \u201cusually isn\u2019t her style.\u201d<\/p>\n
