Page Six was first to report the split.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to court documents obtained by Vanity Fair<\/em>, Getty filed for divorce in New York in January 2024, and court documents categorized the split as \u201ccontested,\u201d meaning the two had not mediated their separation before Getty filed.<\/p>\n The duo married in a private ceremony in December 2020, then in November 2021 hosted a lavish celebration to toast their union in style. At the second ceremony, in San Francisco<\/a>, Getty wore a custom dress designed by John Galliano<\/strong> for Maison Margiela Haute Couture, embellished with broken mirrors to create a floral motif, along with a coordinating headpiece and a 16-foot veil. The gown was rumored to cost $500,000<\/a>. That ceremony<\/a> was officiated by then-House Speaker Rep.
