Now, the game will see contestants face off against a classroom of famous people, with the new title <em>Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Adding the title of game show host to his resume is something Travis is really looking forward to.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI grew up loving game shows, and I\u2019m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with \u2018Are you Smarter than a Celebrity?\u2019,\u201d Travis shared in the official press release (via <em><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/tv\/news\/travis-kelce-are-you-smarter-than-a-celebrity-with-prime-video-1235972704\/#recipient_hashed=49bbb90ef70860c6d66c2236fcc42d2553a87206d049dc89dd6f450cda855393&amp;recipient_salt=e497a1d6b99d0571230fd256d8f21eb2f1e89d3a4139e8e3d2b2c43e7524ba0a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Variety<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone\u2019s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining. I\u2019m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The long-running game show would have a twist with Travis at the helm though. It would be \u201ccelebrity-focused\u201d which we gather means celebrity guests would be playing against the panel of kids. <\/p>\n<p>Prior hosts of the original show include Jeff Foxworthy and John Cena, the latter hosting the show when it aired on Nickelodeon. <\/p>\n<p>Amazon\u00a0Prime Video\u00a0has officially ordered a 20-episode season, though a release date has not been announced. <\/p>\n<p>One huge, red flag question was immediately asked but not answered: how will he swing this AND a big football career? Fifty women, one from each state, once competed for a chance to win over his heart. There was a winner, but their love didn\u2019t last. <\/p>\n<p>Point is, he fit in the show in the off-season, as well as a stint hosting <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2021\/10\/kim-kardashian-hosts-saturday-night-live-roasts-kanye-west\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em> in March 2022. In fact, he even made fun of his reality show <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was kind of like\u00a0<em>The Bachelor,<\/em>\u00a0except instead of roses, I handed out footballs, and instead of watching, people did not.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And of course, even during the football season, Travis is able to find time to record his podcast with brother Jason.
